August is National Children's Vision and Learning Month!  To honor this, prepare your kids for the new school year by checking their vision.  We would like to see all children before school begins for their annual eye exams. 

Many of the children who visit our office have 20/20 vision and very healthy eyes, but there are some children who need help seeing in the classroom! 

Some students complain about getting tired when reading or working on the computer, or getting headaches when doing their homework.  Together, we explain to mom & dad that it's not an excuse to get out of doing their work, it's actually caused by a vision disorder! 

These children are prescribed glasses for reading/computer to make their eyes more comfortable, or vision therapy sessions here at the office to train the eyes to work more efficiently. 

So if you haven't had your child's eyes examined yet this year, call to schedule their appointment and make this school year a successful one!
