Stefani S. Martin, O.D.

Stefani Martin, O.D., received her Doctorate in Optometry from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Martin received additional training during her tenure at Nova, completing an internship in children's vision and vision therapy. She is a member of COVD, the College of Optometrists in Vision Development, which focuses on behavioral optometry and therapy techniques. She is also a member of OEP, the Optometric Extension Program, which is dedicated to education in vision and clinical care. This past year, Dr. Martin has opened the Vision Therapy Institute of Florida providing comprehensive vision therapy for men, women and children of all ages.
After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at the University of Iowa, where she graduated with honors, she completed her Doctorate of Optometry at Nova Southeastern University, College of Optometry, where she was also recognized with honors. In addition to completing an internship in children’s vision and vision therapy, the doctor also completed a second internship at Aker-Kasten, receiving advanced training in disease and cataract management. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honors Society and she received numerous awards including RGP Excellence Award (2004), Contact Lens Excellence Award (2004), Jack Wolfe Outstanding Clinical Performance Recipient (2004) and the Betty Hoeft Leadership Scholarship (2002). Dr. Martin was also an active member of Student Volunteers for Optometric Service to Humanity and the American Optometric Student Association.
Dr. Martin has a strong commitment to volunteering and to supporting various community initiatives. She donates her time to Florida’s Vision Quest Children’s Exams, the Lighthouse of Broward and Palm Beach Counties, the Delray Beach Firehouse Community Vision Screening Program and the Jason Taylor Foundation. She also is a member of the Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce/Chairman’s Club. Dr. Martin has established Ocean Optics as a collection site for Lion’s Club glasses.
Stefani Martin, O.D. is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Florida Optometric Association and the College of Optometrists in Vision Development.
In her leisure time Dr. Martin is an avid runner and enjoys boating and scuba diving. She is a Miami Dolphin fan and a former Miami Dolphins Cheerleader.
